I have a mixed review. When my kids fall sick, this is the first place we go because they're close to our home. However, each visit has never been satisfied. This had been over the course of 6 months. 1st visit, my son was severely sick and complained of an ear ache. Upon taking him to this Urgent Care, the staff was pleasant and we never had to wait to be roomed. There was one lady who seemed to maybe be having a bad day, she was our practitioner who roomed us. She came in, never took my sons temperature, just did his heart rate. As she goes through and is asking the standard questions I answered to the best of my ability. After, she says "What do you want him tested for?" I replied I was unsure, with his symptoms, test him for whatever you deem appropriate! She responds and said "you're the mom, you pick what he's tested for" well, immediately I was frustrated because I have no idea what's going around or what he should be tested for! She ended up testing for flu & RSV and wrote him off school for 3 days. We left & We were unable to obtain the antibiotics prescribed because of national shortages, I request a different and was told to come back in the office to be seen, again. Our second visit, again with my son for the same problem, we were seen by a different Practitioner. Went through the spill of questions again, this time no test ran at all. Still needed to be written off for 3 days, and prescribed him another antibiotic. Trip was quick & to the point, I am pretty sure it was less than 20 mins. This last trip, my son and daughter were both seen. Again, not the same practitioner/Dr. We were roomed immediately. This Dr was very nice and my kids felt comfortable voicing their concerns. He checked their ears & throat as they had stated they had headaches, chills, extremely fatigue, and sore throats. Again, children were never tested for anything. He prescribed them an antibiotic and 3 days off school. I'm noticing a pattern. I'm not sure if this is their way of keeping fast service, but antibiotics prescribed without knowing what exactly you're treating, isn't going to help. Come to find out, after we left, my kids did not improve. I was able to take them to another urgent care the day they were due back to school and they both tested positive for covid. If they had been diagnosed BEFORE, my husband and I probably could've avoided getting it, as well. The school also wasn't thrilled they were notified 3 days later about covid exposure. If this place could continue the process and fast service while TREATING their patients, it would be a successful place.
